Okay, so have you considered that people you're friends with now might not be your friends always?

Catfishing.
It's a term for when someone pretends to be a person they're not on the internet to con you.
It can and does happen.
And it can wreck a person emotionally and financially.
Never had a problem with it myself, but I've seen other people fall for it.
