(Network) A little bit of hacking never hurt anyone

Who:"Manji" (Actually Cortana posting with his account)
Username: Username
Warnings: None, other than Cortana being a little shit.

A little Public Service Announcement: don't make your account password a variation of password.

Unless, of course, you want to end up like this guy.

Okay, so have you considered that people you're friends with now might not be your friends always?
I'm not saying you're going to burn bridges, but if it happens, you should be protected.
There are all sorts of scam artists who try to get your money, too.
Catfishers.

[ It's a totally innocuous, reasonable comment, and yet it hits him unexpectedly hard after what happened with Meredith, and the way he's been withdrawing from his friends since.

Okay so maybe that twisting, gut-punch feeling isn't so unexpected.

I don't need to be protected. They do. He types something along those lines, then deletes it, and instead sends: ]

Catfishing.
It's a term for when someone pretends to be a person they're not on the internet to con you.
It can and does happen.
And it can wreck a person emotionally and financially.
Never had a problem with it myself, but I've seen other people fall for it.

Mate, you're not tech literate enough to be a catfisher.
When were you born?
What even is your favorite band?

[She's making a point here... Time to see if he catches it.]

Is your favorite band the one you're in?
Play in the garage and get yelled at by your parents for being too loud on the drums?

What makes you think you won't ever see them again?
This place doesn't have to be forever.
