It's not a serial killer. That would be a sensible explanation. Dogtown is less about sensible explanations, and more about being a testing ground for nightmares.

Don't handle the teeth for too long. They seem to be...contagious might be the best word. If your mouth starts bleeding, leave.

If it were a serial killer, little bags of teeth is more like what they would KEEP. As a trophy. What we would be finding is a lot of toothless bodies. Honestly, I’ve yet to encounter a tooth fetish in my career, though I did arrest a man who pickled his victims’ faces in mason jars as a souvenir a couple of years ago.

Sometimes. But if I'm being fair, that was them trying to find a way to counteract an ongoing attack.

What I meant is that in Dogtown, there's regularly something new and horrible. Mostly it doesn't spread outside of Dogtown, and by the time the next new horrible thing starts showing up, the last one is either gone or less prominent. It's never safe, but it's remarkably contained.

Body parts are new. At least human body parts are, anyway, though there were these evil cows with human arms and a lot of traps surrounded by... meat.

It's been getting progressively worse since I got here, which was about six months ago now.

It makes your teeth bleed? You know, I don't have experience with MAGIC serial killers. I wonder if that's the sort of thing THEY would do. That being said, 'killer' doesn't have to be part of the equation. People can live just fine without their teeth, even if they're violently extracted. I wonder if this isn't a punishment of some kind.

Be very careful in Dogtown. Be prepared for trouble, and don't go alone. They send us there fairly often to investigate strange happenings, including a disturbing frequency of body parts of all sorts. Teeth is new, but not particularly surprising.
