[open network - video]
Who: Delloso de la Rue
Username: Rue

[With how much Rue's come to use their smartphone over the last five or so months, they feel like quite the pro as they begin this video message across the network, their feathery countenance perfectly in frame and prettily lit from a nearby window.]
Now that my beloved and I have finally picked a date, I find that our wedding is fast approaching. I must confess, I was originally quite set on our ceremony being a delightful mix of both goblin and faerie ritual, but I've come to find some human practices absolutely fascinating!
Tell me, do you have any particular wedding traditions from your homeland that stand out as unique?

(...While he's a bit more furry than what Cortana would consider her type, she can definitely appreciate some of his other qualities, such as being huge and muscular. And she's pretty sure furriness isn't going to be a turnoff for an Owlbear.)
We've sparred a few times.
(She smiles.)

Ah, of course. He does have a fondness for trading blows out in the training yard. Truthfully, I'm surprised by how many were so eager to spar with him. I thought more would find his stature and vast experience quite intimidating, but so many here are rather proficient in combat!

(She looks thoughtful.)
They're probably glad to have an opportunity to practice against someone with an entirely different physique.
Anyway, he seems like a nice guy. A little furry for my tastes, but I can see why you like him.

And they certainly won't say it aloud, but maybe even a chance for friendship and camaraderie. The man could use a few solid close friends in his life, someone he can talk who isn't Rue.]
Well, I suppose the furriness is part of the appeal for me. But thank you. He is a good, honorable, darling man. Back when I was in hiding, he made me feel seen for the first time in my life. I suppose that was the moment I fell for him, but since knowing him, those feelings have only grown.
