hello you beautiful people
pimp me the department you work in, the only thing worse than working a regular job is working odd jobs and I'm DONE

un: max
i can do other things in my spare time and catch a movie or two during my shift.

how weird is it that I never even thought of that, like just getting a legit job that I'm trained for
and that sounds like a great perk to working at a movie theatre
do you get a friends and family discount?
we could totally be sisters
no subject
you're staying at the ADI, right? i could get you to talk to bonnie if you change your mind about working in a department.
i don't know about discounts, but i'm sure i could sneak you in regardless.
no subject
oh really? we should go to a movie sometime, just saying
no subject
even without the sneaking in, that is an offer i am open to taking.
do you like movies much?
no subject
I'd totally pay, to be fair, and yeah I really like movies
you'd think I'd be burned out on weird horror shit but no, I still like cheesy horror movies, the badder the better

[impressive every day, abby!]
oh, i know what you mean. i like comedies best. sometimes lucky says it's okay to play sitcoms on the big screen. i didn't realize how different the experience would be.
we could make a day of it.
[movies, and stuff.]

it's just not one of those objectively cool careers like secret agent or video game designer, you know?
sitcoms on the big screen? oh man that would be amazing
what sitcoms do you like?
I would LOVE that
it's a date
no subject
i wonder what kind of career i would have if i had to choose.
[but her life was never meant to be normal, y'know.]
all sorts. american, mostly. that is how i learned english.
it is hard to pick... but maybe the dick van dyke show. it was one of my absolute favorites to watch with my family.
alright, but you will have to bring your own snacks if you want any.
[girls hanging out]

I personally like architecture though, so no regrets
and hmm, well, what are your interests? what do you like to do for hobbies?
I'd totally watch the dick van dyke show with you
being honest, I've never really seen it though I've heard of it
and hell yeah I can bring my own snacks

i do like numbers. my brother was the artsy one, but i am alright with a guitar. i didn't really get a chance to go to school growing up.
there are other sitcoms that are more recent if you prefer. i think the ones from the late 90s are pretty fun.
no subject
I kind of had to get over worrying about that
numbers? you could go into something stem with that
or accounting if you didn't want to do way too much school
you play guitar?
["That's hot." she thinks, but doesn't type it.]
there's a few good ones
but it might be nice to watch one I haven't seen
no subject
[and then she kind of became untouchable?? so.. hm.]
i don't think i have much of a life doing any of those normal things though.
i'm a bit of a fugitive in my world? kind of. but accounting does sound boring.
it is just a hobby to pass the time. i've been locked in rooms waiting a lot.
well, allow me to educate you in classic sitcom culture.
no subject
(if that's okay for me to ask, i mean)
and yeah accounting does sound boring
you could play something for me some time
I would be honored to learn about classic sitcom culture from you
no subject
it kind of put us in a difficult position.
more opportunities to pass time. it sounds like fun.

rebel
does sound difficult, though, living life on the run and all that
what was it like?
