yeah, I don't think medical is for me

I'm not sure what KIND of magic it is, just the usual kind where I come from
I just have an affinity for healing, but it does this messed up thing where it takes life from other places, so I don't really do that
ever

So the irony is that we’d have a healer suited for medical (minus the life-stealing parts — problematic) if not for ADI’s tendency to discourage magic altogether. But maybe it’s no loss for you, anyway, if you always use it sparingly.

I mean, I'd use it more if there was a life source around I didn't feel bad about decimating
I'd maybe do it in the middle of a forest or something with no other people or animals around
so call me if that ever happens

but yeah I'd totally do healing then but otherwise, you'd have to teach me from the ground up

No harm, no foul. We’re always willing to teach if someone’s interested, but I hope you can find something you’re more comfortable doing in the meanwhile.

What sort of rules does magic abide by in your world? Do you know?

it's not super complicated
you do magic by completing a ritual
what the ritual is depends on the person
a lot of people keep their ritual secret, and I'm one of them, but it can vary a lot, like you can do interpretive dance or sing or play music or make gestures with your hands
some people have affinities, which is a special kind of magic only those people can do and that's what my healing is
