Warnings: Linked image is of a weird animal statue with a transparent womb, so... that's a thing. Otherwise none!

Do you have any idea how long I have to keep this on my desk for 'observation'? I know the child isn't moving (I checked the security cameras!) but it's making me imagine things when it's in the corner of my eye.
... does anybody who bought something cuter from Things of Beauty want to swap?
[ And then another new post after a few minutes, because Romelle has not yet gotten the hang of post editing: ]
Also can someone please explain what "pogge" (I think) means? I thought I had adjusted to Earth language well enough, but these videos might as well be speaking Snakurlan.

I will gladly trade you though, it'll be better for the mother and me if she's with somebody who appreciates the design.

And going to the store was also... well, I haven't been shopping a lot on this planet, but I would qualify it as 'normal'.

Maybe we need to be looking at something different than the merchandise then? The cash register, the action of purchase in itself, the conversations the customers are having? The carpet??

Are the ones who dress in all black and wear little skull ornaments more or less suspicious than the plain-looking ones who seem like they should not be enjoying whatever it is they're selling?

People who look like they do not belong there seem far more suspicious than those who do, no? I will grant you, to judge a book by its cover is unhelpful, but in this instance, I would cast more doubt upon those who do not look the part. Or perhaps... those who do not look the part and who are also not obviously visitors. Those who travel have a penchant for finding themselves in places most might not go.
