Do you have any idea how long I have to keep this on my desk for 'observation'? I know the child isn't moving (I checked the security cameras!) but it's making me imagine things when it's in the corner of my eye.

... does anybody who bought something cuter from Things of Beauty want to swap?

[ And then another new post after a few minutes, because Romelle has not yet gotten the hang of post editing: ]

Also can someone please explain what "pogge" (I think) means? I thought I had adjusted to Earth language well enough, but these videos might as well be speaking Snakurlan.

It is adorable. This is Mercy Graves, and I will trade you for this curious pea pod?

[Attached is an uncanny knickknack.]

It is a most strange creature. All of these are unusual. I can see why ADI would think they are cursed, but I have had no adverse effects from my purchase. Not even extra sneezing! Has anyone had a problem, do you know?

No, it seemed different from many of the other shops. I was able to ask for the manager in those. But in this one, he did not come out when requested. It was very strange. Perhaps something is cursed, but he is cursed not to say what it is? We must simply find it on our own.

I should think a thorough combing of the store, not just the merchandise may well be in order. Or at least an observation of those who enter and exit. Perhaps we need to follow some of the customers who seem most suspicious?

[That... is a good question.]

People who look like they do not belong there seem far more suspicious than those who do, no? I will grant you, to judge a book by its cover is unhelpful, but in this instance, I would cast more doubt upon those who do not look the part. Or perhaps... those who do not look the part and who are also not obviously visitors. Those who travel have a penchant for finding themselves in places most might not go.
