The haunted evolution game was provided by a donor who wanted to remain anonymous. The museum's administrative records identified the company donating the software as Top Education.

This isn't a name I've come across before, but it's worth looking into what else they provide, and where.

Assuming it's a name in current use, it shouldn't be too difficult to find records of that company.

It wouldn't be too difficult to find records of the company even if they've closed.

The harder part will be finding enough information to do some proper digging and see if this is a one-off, or if their games can be linked to other problems. Or if they're a shell company giving cover to something with wider reach.

I am... not particularly familiar with this world's method of dealing with matters of business. But assuming the data has not be simply scrubbed from existence it will - in theory - continue to exist somewhere. Regardless of the difficulty in finding it.

There is always a thread to pull. This place just has new and interesting ways to make them annoying to find.
