(Then again, it's not like medical is likely to do much his abilities don't already do for him. She sighs.)

If the blood is still fresh, try to flush out what you can with water -- it'll make it easier to get the rest of the stain out. After that you can apply something like peroxide or vinegar, or try a cleaning product made specifically for washing out bloodstains.

I know not what the ingredients are. You just buy it at the drugstore, and pour it on things to cleanse and disinfect them.

Soak the clothing in cold water - ice water, if you can manage it - and scrub with baking soda to break up the rest of the stain before putting it through the wash. There are other things you can use, but that's the simplest home fix.
