(Please let that be it. She is going to yell his ear off about the dangers of drugs and caffeine and using them in place of actually taking care of himself if this is the case, but please let him be okay.)
Dammit! (Shouted very emphatically. Oh, wait, that might scare him.) Sorry. Thanks Winter. (Some more, quieter swearing. She has a really impressive swear vocabulary, covering current languages, past languages, future languages, and even alien languages.)
[It's okay, this time he doesn't think she's mad at him, and also she's in some other room in the apartment complex and couldn't get at him even if she was mad at him.]
I can look around and see if he got caught somewhere with no signal.
[But he isn't particularly hopeful about it, either. It's hard to tell via text, at least.]
[Peter goes through his fair share of feelings. Grief is immediate, and frustration and regret comes after. He had barely even gotten to see Tony again...]
Hopefully we can find him. He has to be here somewhere. He has to be.
can you hack cameras at adi? [Probably shouldn't be asking this over a network.] maybe they dragged him down into their basement area where they keep people they want to forget.
The systems at ADI run on a codebase that's completely alien, even to me -- I think they've enlisted the help of people from other universes to design their software from the ground up. I did some work on it out of curiosity, but it'd take months of dedicated effort to crack and I've been busy with my own plans.
(And Tony has been spending months working on a project...

[That hadn't seemed his thing, but Tony is full of surprises.]

Do you think he could have gotten involved with something?

[Steve also thinks about certain things Tony has learned from him. About how he reacted. It makes him feel sick.]
I'll do a sweep of ADI first, make sure he's not asleep from a caffeine crash in a lab somewhere.

I'm afraid that I haven't seen him. Have you tried contacting him directly over the network?

I can't find its signal now so it has either been destroyed or he is out of range
[Yeah, he has a concern, too.]

That might be good. Once I've checked a few other possibilities I'll go looking too.
