[ Jeff opens the door, and he looks at Galliard, blinking without any recognition, as if he didn't just invite him over, like, moments ago. ]

Hey, man, what's up?

[ Then, it dawns on him. ]

Oh! You're-- Next door, right?

[bigporkenergy]

Yeah, I'm next door.

[Galliard shoves his hands in the pockets of his jacket and shrugs.]

If you're going to keep me awake, I should know what I'm listening to, huh?

[cacophonish]

[ That's a fair point. Jeff nods and moves back from the door, inviting him in. Without preamble, he flops onto the edge of his bed and takes up his guitar again. ]

The Nervous Tix. [ A beat, then he shrugs and glances down at the strings as he gives a little strum. ] Or what's left of them.

[ 'What's left,' like his bandmates were the ones who disappeared, instead of Jeff getting flung 20-some years into the future. ]
