Say a guy misses curfew- by three minutes- and gets locked outta the apartments. What's the best place to hole up for a night? Hypothetically.

[He's starting to think this ADI housing deal was the wrong choice. It feels so weird, not being able to come and go as he pleases. Stifling.

That's almost it, until Eddie clicks his fingers and rocks back towards the camera-]

Oh, and purely in the interest of my long term sanity, if anybody here plays DnD, I'm taking party applications. So. Show me what you've got.

[He sits the camera down, shoves his hands into his jacket pockets and flares them as he does a stupid little spin, then throws jazz hands at Manji for emphasis. Cool party dudes don't do jazz hands, probably.]

Are you serious? You're not serious. Look, just so you know, that's not your only option. Save a window, sleep at the Flophouse. Or a shelter. Apparently there's one around here somewhere.

[Completely fair and valid. Eddie, flailing without this context, reaches up reflexively to bury a hand in his own hair.]

I mean that's- sure. Not the weirdest thing that's been said about it, I guess.

[Eddie sputters, not even sure why he feels so stupid. Something about this guy's blunt attitude is throwing him off.]

Because I didn't, alright? I've learned lessons, I've grown wise, I'm full of previously unknown wisdom. Other people told me before you responded. Gimme a break here, man.

And you'd think they'd go a little easier on the new people around here. [He sounds bitter, because he is. He's had a lot of problems settling into this strange new world and rules that seem ludicrous to him weren't helping.]

[Conversational whiplash. A second ago he totally thought this guy was digging at him, and now he's completely relatable and chill. But Eddie's Eddie, so he rolls with it.]
