[Eddie waggles his fingers at the screen. There's a dopey, easy grin on his face, but the bags under his eyes tell a different story.]

Say a guy misses curfew- by three minutes- and gets locked outta the apartments. What's the best place to hole up for a night? Hypothetically.

[He's starting to think this ADI housing deal was the wrong choice. It feels so weird, not being able to come and go as he pleases. Stifling.

That's almost it, until Eddie clicks his fingers and rocks back towards the camera-]

Oh, and purely in the interest of my long term sanity, if anybody here plays DnD, I'm taking party applications. So. Show me what you've got.

I'm not joining your nerd game. But I don't think Bonnie's place has a curfew... and stay out of the park, there's stuff that'll try and eat you in there.

[Eddie rolls his eyes, all ready to be irritated- but the second part takes the wind right outta his sails.]

Eat me? Jesus christ, I was kidding about the Stephen King shit. What stuff? You can't just say that and not give me details! If I don't have details, I'm gonna sit here picturing something worse and worse.

[Eda can't help a little snort at that, even if she understands.] Let's see. From the park? I think it was deer with hands this last time. Apparently those are weird here... either way they weren't friendly. [She still didn't find them that weird, though.]

Then there were those mermaids made of trash in the water... oh, and some zombies there too. And a sea serpent, but I think he's minding his own business again. Actually you know what, don't sleep on the beach either.

[She sighs.] If the guards weren't keeping an eye on me I'd go get you.

[Eddie's brows climb right up under his fringe.]

Oh yeah, for sure, of course, deer with hands. Right, no, that's normal. Uh huh.

[He just blinks through the rest of his as the shit Eda lists gets weirder and weirder, and by the end, Eddie is chewing on his nails.]

Okay. Might just not go to the beach at all, ever.

[The last bit catches him by surprise, and Eddie's face goes all soft with it.]

Oh. No, it's okay, I think I'm good. But thanks. Really. That's cool of you.

[She's a little amused by his reaction to the dangers she listed off, and she was trying to get one, even if it was mostly to drive the point home.

The last part is a little endearing... not that she's going to admit that. Instead he'll be able to hear a little huff.]

Yeah, whatever. I'm not going soft just because I don't want some kid get ripped apart by the local wildlife. It'd be a good excuse to find something to fight, that's all. [She doesn't sound all that serious, more just a touch awkward.]
