Oh, yes, it's Ladies' Night. And the feeling's right...
Who: The Ladies (featuring Winter)
When: Tuesday Night
Where: Starting out a bar named TWenty-One and Cup and from there, who knows!?!
Summary: All of the girls have been invited. Now it's time for the Ladies enjoy a much needed night on the town. DRINKING GAME ALERT! Spot Winter, take a shot.
Notes: This is a mix and mingle style log. Post your own top-level, respond to others.
Warnings: N/A at the moment, will update if needed.
There's a new bar in Gloucester and the imported ladies mean to make the most of its first Ladies Night. Twenty-One and Cup promises half-off all pun-inspired drinks and shots are buy two, get one free. There are plenty of pun-inspired drinks such as Cinnamon Toast Punch, Tequila Mockingbird and Sauvignon Private Ryan. The puns don't stop there. Puns adore the various artwork surrounding the bar.
The rest of the bar's décor is casual. There are fairy lights that decorate the ceiling with a large disco ball in the center of the room that's meant to serve as the dance floor. Seating comes mostly in the form of tables but in the various corners there are booths to sit in. There are a smattering of couches here and there.
There's no need to worry about a designated driver. They all had to take the bus.
All signs point towards that it should be a fun evening for all though some may hate themselves in the morning.

She's pretty sure of that. Mostly.

"It's nice, isn't it? Sometimes. Trying to live the way they live."

She does notice his use of the word 'they', placing himself outside the norm too, and appreciates it. But she doesn't say anything about it, instead taking a large gulp of her drink.

"He's vanished. And I don't know well enough to know if he's disappeared-disappeared, or taken off to where he can go and be a werewolf without ADI knowing."

And she drains the rest of her glass rather swiftly, gesturing to the bartender for another.

Ches had referred to them as a pack.

She laughs, sitting back in her seat, thoughtful. "You'd make a pretty wolf, too, especially if you kept those pretty blue eyes." These are no longer sane, sober thoughts, sorry.

Though the idea does remind him of the image of his father gouging out an assassin's eyes on the floor of his cell while grinning madly up at Malcolm.
"I guess that makes you the alpha."
They'd pretty much already agreed on that.

"I'm pretty sure it's not. It wasn't, I mean. But I might be wrong." She hopes she's very much wrong. She wishes dearly that it was all just stress getting to her and not.

something else. Someone else.

She pauses, and glances sidelong at Malcolm. "Desperation. Need."

But it's possible enough to be worth raising as a possibility.

She pulls out her phone, thumbing the screen, then passes it over so Malcolm can read what happened.

“I’ll talk to him,” he says. “I don’t know what we’re going to do if he really does slip away.”
