[network/open] Set During the Deep Event Prompt

Who: Donna Noble
Username: supertemp
Warnings: None

Show of digital hands, who hates this?
I didn't sign up to be stuck in a flat with a psychopath, personally.
Dunno about the rest of you lot.

So, in the interest of not going insane...
Games.
Two truths and a lie.
Rules are like it sounds.
List two true things about yourself, then one lie.
Don't say what's true or not.
People have to guess that.

I'll go first.

1. I've been to a planet made entirely of emeralds.
2. My best friend has two hearts.
3. I've met Agatha Christie.

((ooc: Everyone please feel free to threadjack around, have your characters respond to each other, rather than Donna!))

You can't take away my obnoxious sarcasm, that's half my personality.

Anyway, I'm almost tempted to say the robot heart thing is a lie, it's the only one that's not an obnoxious brag, but starting the third one with a negative is pretty much a dead giveaway. I'd be actually impressed if it was in space.

[ Honestly it’s rich for Tony to call anyone out on their sarcasm; it’s like 76% of his. But anyway. ]

I’ll have you know that my robot heart is very much an obnoxious brag, thank you very much. I built the prototype in a desert cave with a car battery hooked to my chest and terrorists breathing down my neck

Haven’t earned bragging rights to any space orgies though. Drifting out there in the void a few weeks ago with no food or oxygen was a real mood killer

Sorry to disappoint

And it’s your turn by the way

Excuses, excuses. Try harder next time.

But fine.

1. I outsmarted and killed two of the most powerful arcane masters my world had ever seen.
2. I used to have a stopwatch that let me stop and start time at a whim.
3. My sister killed a dragon.

2. The first one's too specific and if the third one were a lie, you'd say YOU killed it.

[ He's not even gonna argue over the existence of dragons because fuck it. ]

cw for suicide mention

Wrong. The first one is the lie. I only killed one of them. The other shot himself for... some reason.

And to pivot away from that highly sensitive and unpleasant subject,

I’m gonna ask how your watch worked, where you got it and how you managed to lose something like that

Well, they're linked so... pivot failed.

I took it from the latter wizard after he died. Or, well, a friend did, and she gave it to me as a birthday present. He's an expert in time related magic, a special branch of transmutation that he called chronomancy. Basically it had a whole settings menu that allowed you to pick and choose how long you want time to be stopped for the rest of the world, the max amount of time being 48 hours. Of course, in 48 hours, it recharges and you can just pause it again. You could also select a group of people to be unpaused.

For the record, he came back to life. I think it was part of a plan to break into heaven and unseat a god for a few months or something. Anyway, I lost it because I gave it to my sister to help her kill that dragon.
