ive fallen out of trees before and that wasn't much fun. not sure how I feel about being up as high as ive seen some of those flying machines in the sky go. [He's seen a couple planes over head since his arrival, but not a helicopter yet.]

The planes? You wouldn't want to fall from that high, no. Not without a parachute. But there's safety equipment to keep that from happening.

I don't know if we'll ever actually have to travel large enough distances to need to fly here, but it's a lot safer than people assume.

youre in the sky. nothing to hang onto. how could that be safe?

You're inside a machine that was made to travel the sky. As long as you stay inside, you don't need to hold on to anything. It will keep you up, and bring you back to the ground safely.

yeah still dont know if i trust those things. theyre not even flapping their arms like most birds do. i know some birds can glide, but not for as long as ive seen those things in the sky
