Anyone who goes into Dogtown, especially around the Fox Hill area, bring liquor with you. With the newspaper mentioning the packs of dogs, I get the feeling someone's going to hare off to try to investigate. If you do, have a bottle of something alcoholic on hand.

They pop up every few years--no discernable pattern. Witchcraft in general has been a thing in Dogtown since the 1800s, when widows and 'independent women' took over that area and men moved to the coast.

It's technically still active then. The dogs might be heralding something, perhaps?

It seems entirely possible. All the more reason for people to be aware of the possibility of something deeper in that area.

Folklore books in the ADI library, mostly. Newspaper clippings. I wish they had access to like, personal journals from people who lived in the area.

It would be helpful if they did, but maybe there was nothing left.

Or maybe they just preferred to stay out of it if they are superstitious enough.

I'm not sure superstitious is the word I'd use for ADI's view on things. Cautious, but is it really superstition if the entities exist?
