Right, we are in Massachusetts, USA. Salem should not be very far from here either, come to think of it, and its witch trials in the late 17th century are quite infamous in history. Would you happen to know what kind of general rumours surround witchcraft in this city? What they can do, what their goal is, that sort of thing?

I don't have much specifics to go on. Just that rough timeline I already mentioned.

I did see in the newspaper that with Halloween approaching, this area's going o get very touristy, with Salem so close, and people catering to the haunted house crowds.

How did you first come to hear about the witch of Dogtown, if I may ask? Your information sounds a bit like personal experience.

Just research, books in the ADI library about local folklore, things like that. I don't have any personal experience with the witch.

But I know a lot of fantasy stories. I've always loved fairy tales, folklore, fantasy.

I'll have to catch up on my readings. Personal accounts would be more helpful for practical reference, but the risks involved could get messy.

I think I know what you mean. Those kind of stories are elegant and mysterious, but they also leave a lot of room for your imagination to go wild. There's bits and pieces that could be real too, you never know. Something like that?

For me, it's a matter of...I never felt like I fit in, in the real world. I spent most of my nights on my own, and everything felt really dull and grey a lot of the time, until I found stories worth escaping into. Games, mostly, to be honest.

Everyone struggles in their own way, we all have our little indulgences to make every day more fun to go through. The creator of those games and stories would probably be happy to know that their works have been enjoyable and helpful to you, I think. What's your favorite kind of scenario?

Raids. I used to be part of an epic raid party that would always try to be the first to take on new content at release. We weren't even a guild, some of us had other guilds, but we still really relied on one another for new raids.

I was the party strategist, at the time.

That certainly explains it! Overcoming challenges, partaking in fluid teamwork, and making records are all achievements to take pride and joy in, a game setting doesn't change that. They do say "every battle is won before it is ever fought", a good strategy is always crucial. The skills you obtain that way can definitely be applied elsewhere, too.
