Ill Met By Moo-Light

Who: Aelwyn Abernant & YOU?
When: 4th of September, two days after the last night of the circus.
Where: Holy Cow Ice Cream Cafe
Summary: A meeting, away from the prying eyes of ADI.
Warnings: TBA?

[Aelwyn mentioned offhand that they should discuss a plan of attack in person, away from the prying ever-present eyes of the ADI. Pretty early in the morning she tells a few people she thinks are tight with enough people to make a meeting work without having to go through the regular channels and one things leads to another and eventually, a meeting is organized.

At an Ice Cream place, which, to be fair, makes a really good milkshake. Aelwyn arrived here extra early, just to check that she managed to actually book the place and keep it away from prying eyes. Luckily, it seems that whatever money she has, it's good enough to afford one booking.

So she's there, at the table, a cup of ice cream in her hand.]

I think we've all got out suspicions, right? And I'd say a lot of us are sick of not knowing when we're being watched by those who claim to be protecting us.

Who wants to start? [Logically, she knows she should, but she's a dramatic bitch, so why should she.]

"I never realized," admits Binx. "I only wish all the things that have been invented over the centuries were enough to protect us from what we can't see - but if they help us see it, that's at least a start. We knew something was wrong with the circus; this seems to confirm that something is wrong with that wagon itself."

Alex just considered for a moment, her lips pursing, and she studied Binx for a moment because she hasn't heard anything about him being some sort of immortal, but from his words, it almost seems like it. But that can be something that comes up later. "If it effects images, there's a good chance it's going to be able to affect audio as well. It may not be as quick as a photo is, but it might have different advantages; at home there's things like EVPs that are voices captured that are too low for us to hear at the moment. I think the next time there's something weird, I'll bring my recorder to check."

"It's a pretty specialized bit of knowledge," Jaeger says with a small smile. "Though spirit photography has been a thing for a very long time, capturing ghosts and other phenomena on film. Of course, a lot of it is simply errors in development, lighting, dust, all sorts of things, but sometimes, it does turn up something worthwhile."

Like now. He frowns at the photographs again, studying them intently.

"The wagon was the center of a tragedy where about a dozen people died violently. That is exactly the sort of thing that leaves an imprint behind. I'm sure a lot of people felt uneasy around it without knowing exactly why, even after it was cleaned and painted." He drums his fingertips on the table, the frown deepening further as he thinks about it. "A lot about the scene in general is off, though. If their end goal is farming fear, at least some of their methods are subtle."
