[ Oh hey, it's that guy! The guy who kept Gara from walking into traffic! Elias is leaving Bonnie's, also sticking like a sore thumb, though his is due to his carefully pressed and spotless suit. As he leaves the building, he spots Gara. Looking him over, he can't help but lightly sass, ]

I didn't know Bonnie had rules against drinking on the premises.

Back to ADI, [ Elias says, with a little shrug of his shoulders. ] There was something I had to take care of at Bonnie's. Now that it's finished, might as well head back home.

[ He looks over at Gara before musing, ] That is, unless you think of a reason why I should stay.

[ He's almost daring the kid to come up with a reason. ]

True, but they're places to crash with a lack of rent. ADI could have easily turned us on our own the moment we got here. And yet, they provide the most basic amenities and keep us sheltered, safe, and watched.
