Who: Aelwyn Abernant
Username: Aberration
Warnings: Potential mention of past abuse, all the museum warnings
[The scene that the camera opens up on is Aelwyn in her and Mercy's shared rooms in Bonnies. She looks good, at least to the untrained eye, she's been covering up the bags under her eyes and the sickliness of her skin with makeup. It's annoying, considering she never used to need these things to be beautiful, but whatever.
To anyone who knows what they're looking for, it's obvious. Aelwyn is half starved of fear. The museum gave her something - little things she was able to destroy, but still, it's not enough.]
In my world the closest to an analogous institution to the ADI is a high school run by a lunatic wizard who hates the law and the government and sets teenagers loose to go kill whoever they think needs killing. I feel like that would be a bit more effective in cases like this.
Should have torched the whole museum.
I have two questions for the rest of you. One is more important generally but I'd like answers to both.
Can anyone tell me what the Lullaby Girl, Hermy Wormy and the Museum all have in common?
Question number two.
Any movie or book recommendations? I've been here nearly two years and I'm still not sure what to watch or read. Some are pretty similar to things I've heard of from back home, but it's still very alien, so your input would be valued. [There's a pause.] Not Lord of the Rings, though. It's racist.
[Against elves, she means.]

or so he'd claim]Just the one! It is exceptionally trashy, isn't it?
[The way he says trashy makes it sound like a compliment. Goblins.]

I just don't get what they see in him. Making this big competition dedicated to inflating his ego to an extent that he can't possibly live up to because he's quite literally just a guy.

The thing about the monsters of this world is that every one of them is capable of terror as well. The entities are the source, not the immediate problem.

I happen to be fairly fond of the Great Gatsby by an American author some years ago, as well as Candide and Les Liaisons Dangereuses.
Now, if you don't mind: who is Hermy Wormy and the Lullaby Girl?

...You can't go wrong with Farenheit 451.

Pretty sure that thing's feeding at least one fear and it's not half as good as Rats.

(She manages to keep a straight face but there's a cheeky tone in her voice that should make it clear this is intended as a joke.)
More seriously, I'm not sure what to recommend specifically, but I've found that basically any form of media is better enjoyed with friends.
You've noticed a pattern? (It shouldn't be surprising: Human pattern recognition is legendary, and other organics seem to be similarly gifted.)
