So. That sucked.

Did anyone else get a souvenir that wasn't a t-shirt or keychain? [He's not bothering to hide his crab arm, there's no way he could and he's pretty sure everyone that's seen him knows already, he's been having to cut the left sleeve off his shirts because the spiky carapace is too big and tears through the fabric every time he moves.]

There's got to be a reason for this, a pattern, something. Maybe if we figure out what this is we can fix it. [Because there has to be a way to fix this.]

Look, I can't figure out how to do this anonymously or make a poll, so if you don't wanna say what you got, it's no problem. But if you don't mind, maybe we can put our heads together and figure this out.

[...well, okay. John takes an empty beer can and puts it in the claw, and crushes it easily, the pointier ends cutting through the aluminum in parts.]

That's what I'm talking about! If this place is to stick you with something, best they give you a small dose of power.

[John gently adds Hickey to his mental list of suspicious people. Of course, he too is a suspicious people.]

See, that's what I'm saying? Not that I want a crab arm but y'know, with other things--I'm tired of not having an advantage in a place like this.

And a tail, if you must know. [It's not like people won't notice, so she angles the camera to show it curled over her lap. It's grey and covered in fluffy feathers. It might be regular fur when she's not a harpy, but she hasn't checked.]

I can work with it. [It means having to customize some of her clothes… again, but it’s fine. Tails aren’t unusual where she’s from.]

You’re lucky you didn’t get a crab claw then, unless you can make that work.

[He smirks, a gentle tease, or maybe just self-depreciation. He’s never been one to care too much about his looks but he doubts his crab claw is gonna add much to an ensemble.]

Nothing really clear yet. I played the game a lot and that coulda made a difference on what stuck around, like an exposure thing.

I usually go for the velociraptors, but they were all out.

It would be the easiest thing to rule out, probably. How many times people played, and how many times they didn't go extinct. If it's a matter of exposure, there should be a correlation there.
