Hello dear friends. For those who I have yet to meet, my name is Delloso de la Rue and, as you can see for yourself, I am not very much not a human.

Though us non-humans have been made to wear a glamour outside of these halls, that does not fix the problem that most human retailers do not make clothing fit for our unique frames. Coming from a place most similar, I've spent the last few millennia creating my own outfits as the ones available to me rarely could fit either my wings or my stature.

So, Ms. Eda and I shall be working together to help supply custom clothing to any of those struggling to find attire that fits. For a small fee, I'm happy to design any number of outfits to help accommodate wings or a tail or whatever you may need. Truth be told, design is a passion of mine, so I'd be delighted to work with all of you to make something to your liking.

Oh my dears, modesty in dress is absolutely overrated. If one isn't making a splash with their style, then what's even the point of dressing to begin with?

[Are we having a moment here, Donnie? Absolutely.]

What about a faux cufflink? You know, something to mimic the appearance without actually changing the texture of the jacket? It would be easy enough to add a touch of sparkle without it becoming a discomfort.

[And then, naturally, Leo chimes in with the most perfect addition. Rue's already huge eyes grow even larger.]

Oh! We haven't even discussed a hat!

[OKAY, BUT LIKE, RUE JUST TOOK HIS COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE CUFFLINK FEEL SERIOUSLY THO???? adopt him

And then Leo pipes up and of course he's right, of course Rue's right, and Donnie points to both of them in turn.] Yes. Yes. But I don't want it to be too flashy. My shoulders are the star here.

Nah, of course. Just something to bring it all together, toe to tip.

[It's fashion!! Rue takes all of it too seriously.]

Then let me at least phrase it like this: if we can not work out a hat for this outfit, then we certainly will for the next.

[because of COURSE Rue has to make them both a whole wardrobe now. They can't just wear the same bespoke suit every single day, no matter how glorious it will be.]

[GLEE. A custom wardrobe! Honestly the turtles don't tend to wear clothes very often, but it's a matter of practicality over preference and honestly, who doesn't love a fancy dress-up?] Excellent.

What of my brother, here? [So excited he just reaches over and gestures to the shape of Leo's plastron with his hands, deftly avoiding slapping that teacup aside.] He's the one in the family with the snatched waist, if you will, but we rarely get to find anything that takes advantage of that with the whole shell situation.

[As soon as Donnie changes direction to him, Leo carefully raises the teacup out of the way of possible slapping range. Preening a bit, even.]

[It's honestly very amusing from Rue's perspective, to watch the way they interact with one another, knowing exactly how to respond to every move and action and word. Such big personalities like these are exactly what they'd expect to find attending the Bloom back in the Feywild. They'd certainly get along just fine with so many of the fey there.]

Well, tell me, Leo. Do you have any ideas on what you and your, ah, snatched waist would look best in? I'm happy to throw out a few suggestions of my own, but of course I want to take your own preferences into consideration first.

[Leo thinks for a minute, sipping the last of that tea now that Don's done showing off the features. Taps his chin once, twice.]

Something that screams 'cool jock', but definitely more on the 'cool' side. Didn't really have a chance to think about it on the way over.

Cool is certainly easy enough though jock I admit is a fairly new term to me. Perhaps a well-fitted letterman jacket, with faux leather sleeves and in colors of your choosing.

[Rue blinks, smiling.]

Blue, perhaps. I think with a few measurements, I could make it fit both your shell and accentuate your waist.

Oh, blue is definitely the right color. And those all sound perfect.

[He looks SO pleased to be right that they aren't sus.]

What do you need from me?

Wait! Me first. [He literally will not eat these snacks because they seem very flavorful and he doesn't know if he likes the flavors so obviously he can't try them, but more importantly he needs his suit.] I have restless energy due to the excitement and it will become someone else's problem.

[oh spirits, these actual children! Rue can't help but chuckle softly at how animated and outspoken they are. It's quite endearing.]

How about this - I can measure you both at once, then give me a few days and I'll schedule you both for your first official fitting. From there, I can make any stylistic or size changes that we need. And once we've finished your first outfits, we can come up with a few more for you both, hm? To round out your wardrobes.

[He's still on the fence, but the allure of new poppin' clothes is so powerful....

He finishes off one cookie he was working on, then finds an identical one to hand to Donnie without even looking at him - safe flavor, not too much.]

Leo is so much better at it.]
