[Behold, a very typical 'nerd' voice. Canonically mistaken for a fake nerd voice, because it is so nerdy.]
For those of you who are capable of following the scientific theory, I hope you engaged thoughtfully in the observation step when you arrived. For those of you who cannot or will not, may Feynman have mercy on your particles.
My query: when you arrived here, where was it? With whom? In what physical state? I need data. No matter how mundane or unremarkable your experiences or their retelling may be, I must hear them. Scientific advancement demands it.
As an aside, how does an echo 'hear' something? Please explain.

Investigation and personal protection services for a private security firm.
My employers were not good people, and did not take it well when I tried to leave.

[He's perfectly capable of humor, it's just dry as the desert. But his next words are more thoughtful, more measured.]
There are things I miss at home. And not being able to use my magic here is difficult. I think if I had the chance, I would go back to my own world, but I'd make some changes. In my own life, in the way I approached things.
This world has been difficult, but I've learned a lot here, too.

Well, if that's how you see it, that's how it's seen. Hopefully once we figure out how to send people back, we can alter time and place rather than just returning individuals right back to where they left off.

I wish you all the luck in making sense of it. If there's a way back. Some here think that those who disappear go back to their own worlds...others aren't so sure. And ADI doesn't tell us much, but that's expected.
[He has his doubts and only a very small share of trust in their employers.]

And I expect the truth is somewhere in the middle. I think it's a good cause, but I have questions about how much they know, and just how much trust *they're* putting into *us*.
[Answer: not much, in Jaeger's mind. But on the other hand, they are a bunch of powerful and less-than-stable refugees from lost worlds. That's bound to raise caution in anyone's mind.]

What's your name, so that I can follow up with you in the event of a username change or network inaccessibility?

Apologies. I'm Andrew Jaeger. Most people just call me Jaeger.

But a lot of us have our questions. I think under the circumstances of "abducted to another world and put to work by a mysterious corporation", it's fairly reasonable for that alone.

Fair enough.
I'll update you later, Jaeger.

I'll be seeing you around, I'm sure.
