[video] Group Chat Time! (Locked to Winter and Yelena!)

Who: Kate Cordello
Username: Cupkate
Warnings: N/A

[ Kate is currently in the kitchen of their shared apartment. She's making a menu and checking it twice. There are also other things to be planned but that's why she has a binder out. Presents are in one section, invitations in another, while the food is in the first part. It's important to be organized okay! ]

Okay guys. What are we doing for Christmas. Obviously, we'll have dinner. Should we invite anyone?

Steve.

[There's a pause then another text.]

How many would you want? And is it rude to invite someone to dinner who can't eat?

Yes, Cortana. I think she would like to come but I don't know how to do dinner when she can't eat it.

[Yelena is in her room, that much is obvious from the ridiculous stuffed dragon sitting in the chair behind her, shot carefully angled to avoid showing anything she might want to keep secret.

Yes, there are presents. No, it probably isn't safe to snoop.]

How many people would you be comfortable entertaining in a space this size?

[That gives her a moment's pause, both because most of the people she's gotten anything like close to who aren't already living in the apartment are gone, and because...]

I haven't actually celebrated a proper Christmas since I was six. But if we're voting on dishes, mine is for turkey.

[It smells far less like burning human flesh, which she absolutely doesn't say out loud, because Kate doesn't need that thought put into her head.]

And maybe yams?

[She doesn't remember if she loved them, or just loved saying the word - repeatedly, at volume - as a child, but it's part of her patchwork memory of the holiday, drawn as much from stories as actual fact.]

I think I would like to invite Jaeger, if it's going to be a bit of a larger group like that.
