"No, but was he a git about it? Or withholding or anything? Was he rude?" At least tell her he was rude and it's not just her he's been a massive dickhead to.

"Ah...no?" He doubts that's the answer she's looking for, but... "He was a bit...well, blunt, I suppose? Brusque at times, but he seemed more annoyed with his desire to work than with me." Then again, he wasn't the best with people, so maybe he just missed this supposed rudeness.

"Huh... well. Good to know he can play nice when he wants to." Annoying to know he won't play nice with her, but whatever. She can deal with selective assholes. It's probably good for everyone that he can get along. "And that he helped you."

Donna huffs. "And talking of help. I should go get you that... tofu dog, was it?"

He's not sure 'help' was the right word, he hadn't...really needed any, but he'd been informative and that was helpful. He's not inclined to split such hairs with her.

Instead, he smiles for her huff. "Yes...hopefully it is not as heinous as what it pretends to be...and also does not meet an avian demise. Thank you, Donna."

"I'll guard you this time. And... stop it before I've got to slap you in the face to get it away." There's something a little bit sheepish in her tone as she teases. "Don't go anywhere, all right?"

And off she goes to fetch him a replacement tofu dog!
