LOG - July Catch-All/TDM Prompts (OPEN)

Summary: TDM prompts, as well as some other stuff, will get more specific as I write them.
Warnings: Nothing big at the moment tho lord knows that's bound to change. Scopophobia, paranoia, the issues mentioned in the TDM prompts.

Neal nods, having the same thought at almost the same moment. "Yeah. Yes, I mean, to both."

He tilts his head away from the wall and the birds--at least the ones most easily spottable--and starts walking at a pace that's easy to match. He smiles a little. "I'd like to come over though. It's important to stay in touch here."

A pause, slightly more of a smile. "I think you're the only person I've met who calls Malcolm 'Mal.'"

He's glad they're on the same page. It's easy enough to let the uneasy topic go for now, especially when they can't act on it in the moment anyway. "It is. Way too easy to get buried in work." It was different living in a bunkhouse. No matter what he worked on during the day, he and the fellas would always catch up in the evenings. The camaraderie was easier but also lower stakes. Friends or foes for a season, and then they'd drift away again, like clumped leaves driven by a high wind.

"Yeah? Jes' comes naturally, I guess." He's not sure why. He's not prone to nicknaming most people.
