[Yelena has never been what anyone would call a good patient. Even aside from the fact that she hates feeling vulnerable, she's never taken well to enforced idleness. She'd escaped medical the second she was able, but it will be a few weeks until she's up for her usual routine, which leaves her in need of something on which to focus her considerable energy.

Fortunately - or unfortunately - there's the flower-marked cellars they'd found in Dogtown the previous month, her investigation of which she'd had to cut shorter than she might have otherwise liked in order to join the excursion to Springfield, to distract her.]

For anyone who entered the cellars in Dogtown, what did you see? And where were you, as close as you can narrow down the location?

Did you explore more than one?

No. Cellars.

[She...might have went back a few times. Whether she was searching for answers or just poking at an emotional bruise, even she isn't entirely able to say.]

The last time, everything was dust. No survivors. But you said it's the same at home - so what you saw was something you were already worried about before you got here?

I went out a few times. I wanted to try to figure out what was behind the visions, if there was a pattern to them.

I am... learning. Some humans want to help us.

[ There may even be more helpful humans than not. ]

Did you find pattern? Visions we saw were... mm. Bad thing happen to many people, all of city.

No. Except for the destruction, I can't see a pattern. But that might just mean I don't have enough data points.

[Or it really is random, or is tailored enough to its victims that she'd need far more intimate knowledge of them than she has.]

Destruction?

[ In her own language, she would say, decimation, annihilation, the end of an era and perhaps an entire species. ]

Mmm. Devastation?

[A brief pause.]

Not every vision was something inflicted by people, but the connecting thread for everyone so far seems to be widespread death and trauma.

Yes. Devastation.

[ Where before, she would've hissed, Katrina now makes it a sharp sigh. ]

I saw my people dead. Devastation. You think... Entities do this?

I think one of the Entities is definitely responsible for the visions.

Whether it's a threat, or just playing on our fears, though? I'd like to think it isn't that easy for them to actually get a foothold in our worlds, but there's no way to really be sure.

Hunter would do both. Hm.

We find no clue to say where they are.

[ A shame, because she wants to go and hunt them. ]

Tricky to hunt, but we find them.

And we can hunt down their proxies in the meanwhile.

I think they're the ones causing most of the horrors that happen here. The avatars.

I will. The ones that have been attacking here aren't easy targets - I do not think any of us could bring them down alone.

[The evidence of that threat is currently seared into her hide - Roderick had been difficult even with a skilled partner. If she'd been alone, she would be dead.

Ava, Deepthi Anand, Katie Dunn if she resurfaces, Pyre, wherever he's gone to ground - there's no reason to think they won't be just as difficult.]

Hunt them alone is dangerous. We must hunt together, many in group. They are strong, but we cannot lose.
