[Mirabel has been dealing with a cold on and off, mostly from her pushing herself too hard. She’s currently cleaning the damage done to an office when the office starts shrinking on her. It becomes darker, the windows form into little bars. Mirabel looks alarmed, and makes a run for the door - but it’s so small now, like a prison cell.

She can’t get out.

They trapped her in here. She’s trapped.

A frantic message appears on the network:]

They locked me in! I can’t get out!

I didn’t do anything wrong!

[… Did she do something wrong? The thought that she had eats at her. But she’s too panicked and scared to think straight.]

Someone… please let me out…

I don't know - they! The people in charge! They locked me in. Did I do something...?

I do not know. What were you doing before the room was locked?

I was cleaning an office! That's all I was doing!

[Wasn't it? She doesn't remember doing anything that would cause them to take her and lock her up, but there's still some gnawing guilt that she did something.]

That happened to me, too! This is most troubling. Do you know what room you are in? What floor of the building? You... are in ADI, are you not?

[nonmagical]

I was, I don't know if I was moved? I was on the second floor... furthest room to the left?

[graveyounglady]

I shall come to you with all speed!

[Mercy heads up to the second floor in search of... something.]

I am up here. Could you shout? Rattle the door? Something? People do not seem to be so very alarmed. That is alarming!

Take a deep breath and exhale. Which office were you cleaning in? Do you remember what floor?

[It's hard to think but...]

I was on the second floor. It was the office at the very end on the left side of the building.

Okay. I'm going to come up and get you. [ Or get closed in herself in the process! Either way! ]

I will get to you as soon as I can but I also know what it's like to feel trapped. I want you to keep taking big breaths in and out. No one is going to leave you in there. I promise.

Mirabel? Mirabel?!

[Bruno method of locating niece in distress: shout into the device while also shouting down the hallways of ADI.]

Where are you?

[nonmagical]

[She’s about to answer, when she finally hears his voice from nearby.]

I’m - I’m in here! I can’t get out!

[It’s a small office, but it’s certainly not locked if Bruno tries the door. Inside is Mirabel, huddled in a corner and looking terrified.]

[brunonono]

Mirabel!

[Bruno rushes to the door, following the sound of her voice. Without pausing in his stride he grabs the doorknob and slams his shoulder into the door--and stumbles through without any resistance to fall on the floor in front of her.]

Mirabel?

[nonmagical]

[She flinches when he falls to the floor, her eyes still wide in terror. It's a normal room, but to her? It's a very cramp, dark cell. She seems to have enough sense to recognize who came to her rescue.]

Tio Bruno? How... how did you get in here?

[Is he trapped in here with her? She doesn't know. Everything is confusing and fuzzy to her.]

[The fake voice that reads out the post to him feels wrong for the words being posted and Garner chooses the voice option instead for his reply, half hoping it's a joke or someone's gone to help this person already but, if not, hopefully he can at least keep them calm.

He was hardly the best person to go searching through the halls...but he'd try.]
