I have never heard of either of those things, but we do have stories about mischief spirits.

[She lifts one shoulder in a small shrug.]

They're just stories. I don't think things here are going to be that harmless.

Frog-chasers been known to steal little 'uns who go down by the lakes at night. Wouldn't call that benign, either. You sure the things in your world ain't real, though? Seems like a lot of folks here brush off real things happening as superstition or something else. That's part of what ADI does, right? Convincing them it's nonsense. Maybe you got something like them in your world?

We did. But things got too big for them to cover up.

[She kicks at a small chunk of ice, sending it skittering over the pavement.]

It's hard to hide a giant hole in the sky swarming with monsters when everyone has a cellphone. And that was before most of their records got leaked.

That sounds like a god sending thier wrath down. How- Did the place that happened get wiped out?

[She's having trouble envisioning alternatives, really. They're nearing the museum at this point.]
