When he'd been told he had a room in an apartment assigned to him, Thackery had been taken aback--he hasn't lived in a home for centuries now. But then, he can hardly go back to sleeping under bushes when the magic they put on him makes him look human outside of headquarters and housing.

In here, right this moment, he looks his usual self: a sleek black cat seated on the floor of the hallway, tail swishing as he gives the door to said apartment a dirty look.

Later, assuming one of his roommates lets him in, he takes his time exploring what little there is to see of the apartment, clambering up the bed in his own room, stalking across counters, and scoping out the best window spots in the common room.

Binx gives the stranger a glance as he trots away to check out the common area. One of his roommates, no doubt, and no doubt he'll have to clear up an obvious misunderstanding. For now, though, it's old habit to take advantage of being assumed a dumb animal in order to get the lay of the land.

He makes the rounds of the little place, poking his nose in each bedroom, marveling a little at the thought that one of them is his even if he doesn't care which or know what to do with so much space. Finally he settles in a patch of sun on the living room floor, lazily looking up at the man who seats himself on the couch.

This apartment is certainly not equipped for a cat seeing as they aren't even allowed here. He'll have to deal with this sooner rather than later. Leaning forward in his seat he examines him more closely looking for some sort of identification tag. It helps that he's sitting still now.

The cat that stares back at him isn't so much as wearing a collar, much less a tag. He eyes Ribbons in a lazy, unconcerned sort of way, then finally deigns to speak.

"Take a picture. It'll last longer."

He blinks, otherwise not moving at all. If he had realized this cat would be like this he might not have allowed him in. This seems like exactly the kind of thing to report to the ADI. As long as this so-called cat is here he's at least somewhat contained. He picks up the phone to begin a message.

"I'm sure they will be wanting pictures with my report."

"This isn't Dogtown. No prizes."

He stretches lazily, refusing to get upset about this. "I'm your roommate, airhead."
