So back in my world, I'm from California. Right now it's dark and cold and shit sucks. What should we do about it?

I'm tempted to start burning things. Not big things. No arson. Just hate the cold.

Also, does anyone have any alternative holidays to avoid the big one next month? Asking for a friend.

maybe you need to get involved in fun winter activities. might make you think of this time of year as less "dark and cold" and more "new fun things to do". how is your winter wardrobe?

Non-existent. I'm too busy building a bunker with my roommate for the next apocalypse.

Also I don't know how to shop for warm clothes?

i think maybe that's where most of your problem is. in a place like this it isn't very difficult to find good clothes for winter.

you have to make sure you are okay to handle the weather before preparing for the next apocalypse. my opinion, anyway.

a comfortable coat, scarf, a hat, and wool socks. gloves if you find your hands getting very cold.

once you get your extremities to keep warm, you won't feel so miserable. warm food and drinks are also very helpful.

home has been the usa for a few years. before that, it was a country called sokovia. eastern europe climate.

will you be alright picking out clothes on your own?
