In the time you've been here so far, would you say that you've been able to form any particularly close bonds with anyone? Specifically those you didn't know before, assuming that anyone you know is also present.

Is it normal to call someone "close" in only a month's time?

I'm not really sure, actually. I don't have the experience to say for myself. Perhaps it would simply depend on the person?

And on the person's lifespan, maybe... A month is basically a blip to me. I've lived over a thousand years and there are few that I would call close.

I don't think I've ever met anyone who can boast that sort of lifespan. I don't even know how old I am, myself. Would you say you keep yourself away from forming relationships with others on purpose, to avoid the pain of loss?
