But really, "That sounds terrible." Which - well, is not a surprise. Everything here is pretty terrible, for the most part. But it doesn't make any one single thing less terrible.
And, admittedly, it doesn't help them figure out what happened to Martin now. Rogers was maybe hoping it might be something similar, but, "You didn't have a run-in with any animals or anybody wearing fur this time around, did you?"
Honestly, he maybe hopes it makes Martin laugh a little, again.
