Rodney's eyes widen when he sees the first iratus bug. He sidesteps the cocoon with a lot of space in between himself and that thing, wincing when John suddenly speaks up, and...

"What?"

Rodney whirls around at that name because there are few names that make his soul freeze and his body lock up like that. And sure enough there he is, trapped in that gooey mess, suffering under the Iratus Bug's effect. Rodney has never seen the Genii Commander One quite this helpless but still one of his hands comes up nervously to touch his arm.

"Is that-- that can't be him. He's not here. It must be... some, some sort of trick, hallucination, trying to freak us out..."

But he steps closer to take a better look.

"Doing a pretty good job of it, too..."
