The creature is bleeding rather profusely now, and it launches itself at Martin. It manages to hit the trunk of a tree and get its mouth filled with wood, rather than human, though. Mercy snarls in frustration and stabs it again in the side. She's managed to avoid being hurt, but there's blood splattered across her and dripping down her blade.

She's angry at this creature, rather angry at Martin, and she just wants to finish it. "Die, you yellow-bellied bilge rat!"
