The monster swings around to attack Mercy, but it whirls back toward Martin a moment later when she rolls to the side, out of the way of the mouth and its rows of glass-sharp teeth. A mouth that seems to gape as wide as her own body, now she's seeing it up close and personal.
With it distracted again, she sets aside her fear and charges for it. This time, she leaps and crawls her way onto it's back, stabbing into the base of the stalk above its head. "Martin, I said run!"
