It's a difficult dilemma. Mostly in that someone with this much power is probably an avatar, and Winter is pretty adamant about destroying avatars. He looks at Milo's feet rather than their face while he thinks (and wrestles the last visible signs of stress back behind the bland expression), though that's not exactly strange. Winter still doesn't do eye contact with most people.
