[ keith keeps his eyes closed and his cheek smooshed tight against shiro's chest. maybe it's silly, but at least when his eyes are closed, he feels a little freer, like at any moment the breeze from the sea might be able to lift him up into the sky. it's both pleasant and terrifying, which may be why his arms paradoxically wrap around shiro just a little tighter. ]
