Raine was intrigued by Mercy's descriptions of her home. Admittedly they don't know where Evergreen was.

"It sounds like a very interesting place. Not all of it is different from where Eda and I lived. We don't really have electricity in the.. human sense, but we do have running water."

Raine put their cheek in the palm of their hand.

"Do you have magic where you're from? Or is it like here?"
