Raine nodded at Steve silently as he replied. They did know what he was talking about as well.
"I know I didn't have things 'figured out' before we went and dealt with Zyrian. But I felt like maybe things were more manageable. I supported Nia because I wanted to make sure things didn't fall apart. I knew they would if anything changed. I'm trying to make sure Eda, Hunter and I survive this. And our friends that are still here."
They paused, but only for a moment, before they added, much more quietly:
"But I still don't trust her. Or the ADI. Whether or not we're granted more freedoms to use our abilities I'm very worried something is happening behind closed doors that none of us- perhaps even Nia- aren't aware of."
