Raine hesitated. The snacks were, in fact, quite alluring. But they worried that it meant they would be at the mercy of Rue, and any suspicions they had. Still, it would be rude to say no... and the snacks made Raine's stomach remind them that they hadn't eaten in quite some time.

Raine had been caught in quite the predicament.

"Thank you, Rue. That was very kind of you," They smiled at their friend. "I don't mind. It's always nice to spend time with friends, anyways. I feel like I've been so busy lately."
