"The people who have left ADI voluntarily don't feel as though they can work for an Avatar." She takes a sip of her own coffee before continuing. "They can't trust them or the organization as a whole like that." Her roommates, no her family, might have been persuaded to stay with ADI if Nia hadn't been the one left in charge. "They aren't leaving just because they feel like it. I don't know about those that disappeared. Maybe they just decided to run off or maybe ADI is keeping them in a secure basement somewhere."
Deep down in her heart, she knows there is no going home, not for any of them.
