He made a couple of comments that seemed to amuse him a great deal. He talked about "waxing poetic". That he "rose above" his fear of doing the act for the first time. And that he "reshaped" himself for his new life at the circus.

Honestly, he sounded a bit drunk during some of the conversation. High on adrenaline, perhaps, or just very excitable, but he seemed to find a great deal of things entertaining.
