Eda has to admit, at least to herself, that that sounds genuinely scary; even if the idea of being one of the people who didn't notice seems worse, at least conceptually.

"And I guess they just thought..." Eda trails off, but she has to wonder exactly what Pam's family think happened to their niece, and if they think she—or the ADI—were involved.
