"Yeah, I know," Eda admitted, but she took that eye-roll as a sign of success and shot them an equally playful grin back.
Her expression, however, became more sombre again when they went on. She'd been trying not to focus on how much she missed home, any aspect of home, but she nodded.
"I miss that stuff too," she said a bit more softly. "But you're right," she went on. "I think we've got some of the same flowers here. And we've definitely got some of the same animals... makes me wonder how many things have leaked in both directions."
She trailed off, reaching for their hand again absently as she thought about something else that has bothered her since getting here.
"It's hard to believe if this place isn't connected to the Demon Realm—or you know, a Demon Realm at least. They've got the same myths. And they've even got giraffes."
