Eda squeezed Raine's hand and gave them a slightly apologetic smile. She really wouldn't worry about them at home--they were one of the most powerful witches she knew. And they weren't even physically weak, she hadn't missed the fact they had a surprisingly easy time carrying her around these days. But she worried here all the same.
Still, it was nice to have them there, and it was nice to hear them say they'd get through anything together.

"What was what?" she asked, glancing back at them. Part of it was probably the fact that she knew her idea was silly in a lot of ways, but she also wanted to make sure they hadn't actually heard anything more important.
