Hickey laughs as he starts to chase down Cortana. Unfortunately, Dogtown is full of more than just the two of them. Hickey stumbles, adjusting his position to run around rocks, trees, skidding so that he doesn't fall into a particularly nasty looking pond.

The longer she runs, the more likely she is to actually get away from him. After a while, she seems home free. Or at least as home free as you can get in Dogtown.
