Steve's admittedly glad she doesn't kick up a fuss - not that she seems the type, but he certainly could never fault someone for wanting to handle themselves. But he also thinks that around here, sometimes handling yourself just isn't enough.

He motions in the direction of the park's exit. "You know, I always though parks were supposed to be relaxing," he points out, definitely ruefully.
