Rue laughs, feeling lighter than they can ever remember having felt. Eda isn't at all wrong. She'd barely have to lift a finger to draw the owlbear's attention over to her, so Rue appreciates the chance they've had to flit around and socialize.

"It's surprising, isn't it? How such a small, private ceremony has transformed into such an event? I never guessed so many would want to attend."
